Celebrating identity, protecting rights, and empowering Africans of all backgrounds to thrive.
We work with communities, young people, and partners across Africa and the diaspora to promote inclusion, challenge discrimination, and build safer, fairer societies for everyone.

The African Diversity Project is a community-driven initiative focused on inclusion, safety, and equal opportunity for marginalised groups within African communities.
We highlight and support people who are often left out of mainstream conversations, including individuals with albinism, young people, women, people with disabilities, and migrant communities.
Through education, advocacy, and practical support, we aim to create spaces where every person is respected, heard, and able to participate fully in community life.

We envision an Africa where diversity is celebrated, not punished, and where every person—regardless of skin tone, gender, ability, or background—can live with dignity and hope.
We strive for communities that are free from violence, stigma, and discrimination, and where justice and opportunity are shared by all.

Our mission is to promote dignity, protection, and equal opportunities for marginalised Africans by:

We support and advocate for Africans with albinism and other forms of melanin diversity who face stigma, discrimination, and health risks.
Our work includes awareness campaigns, access to sun protection resources, and leadership opportunities for young people with albinism.
We believe young people are central to building inclusive futures.
We provide mentoring, training, and platforms for youth to lead projects, tell their stories, and influence decision-making in their communities.
We design and deliver workshops, forums, and campaigns on topics such as:
These sessions are tailored for schools, community groups, faith communities, and families.
We amplify the voices of those affected by exclusion and harm, and we advocate for better protection, services, and policies.
We engage with community leaders, service providers, and decision-makers to ensure that marginalised groups are included in planning, funding, and programs.

Through our programs, we aim to:
We measure impact not only in numbers, but in changed attitudes, safer environments, and the growing leadership of those who were once silenced.
