
Isaiah Alier Mashinkok Jr is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the African Youth Collective (AYC). He is a passionate youth advocate, community leader, and change-maker dedicated to empowering African and African-Australian young people and strengthening families and communities.
Driven by lived experience and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people, Isaiah founded African Youth Collective to create safe, supportive, and culturally responsive spaces where youth can thrive. Under his leadership, AYC delivers programs focused on mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), leadership development, sport, education, and community connection through its B-MAD (Beyond Mental Health, Alcohol & Drugs) framework.

Doum Benjamin is a committed suicide prevention and mental health facilitator trained with Roses in the Ocean, Australia’s national lived-experience suicide prevention organisation. He works to create safe spaces, build resilience, and support vulnerable individuals during times of crisis.
