🏀 AYC Basketball Programs

The African Youth Collective (AYC) delivers community-driven basketball programs across Melbourne’s western suburbs. Our programs provide safe, inclusive spaces where young people can develop skills, build confidence, and stay connected to positive pathways.

Time: Saturdays, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Footscray Park Basketball Courts

The AYC Thunder team is our competitive basketball squad, focused on developing high-level skills, teamwork, and leadership. Players are supported to grow both on and off the court, with pathways into organised leagues and competitions.

Time: Saturdays, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Flemington Basketball Courts

This program provides a welcoming and inclusive space for young people to play, connect, and stay active. It focuses on community engagement, social connection, and building confidence through sport.

Coach: Emanuel Malou
Time: Saturdays, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Location: Sunshine Warehouse Basketball Facility

Our Sunshine program focuses on skill development and player growth. Participants receive structured coaching, mentorship, and opportunities to progress into competitive basketball.
